Ingredients

For the salad:

  • 2 red apples cored and diced
  • 2 pears cored and diced
  • 4 clementines or mandarins, peeled and separated
  • 3 kiwis peeled and quartered
  • 1 glass of pomegranate seeds
  • Pineapple chunks optional, for a burst of tropical sweetness

For the maple-lemon dressing:

  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  • Rinse the apples and pears under cold water.
  • Dry them, halve, and remove the cores before slicing or dicing them as desired.
  • Peel the clementines and divide them into segments.
  • Remove any white pith for a neat presentation.
  • Peel the kiwis and cut them into slices or cubes.
  • Halve the pomegranate and gently tap the back with a wooden spoon to release the seeds. Remove any white membrane.
  • Combine maple syrup and freshly squeezed lemon juice in a small bowl. This dressing adds the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess.
  • In a large bowl, combine all the prepared fruits: apples, pears, clementines, kiwis, pineapple, and pomegranate seeds.
  • Drizzle the maple-lemon dressing over the fruit, then toss gently to ensure every piece is coated.
  • Divide the fruit salad into individual bowls or serve it in a large dish.
  • For a finishing touch, sprinkle extra pomegranate seeds or drizzle with a bit more maple syrup.
